Dumb & Dumber...

Saturday I was tired, but had an easy day, spent the evening visiting Woody & Sarah, where I got to meet their 2 beautiful Bengal cats, was fed ace food, and got to play Pandemic and Genji, which are ace board games and lots of fun. And I got to catch up with Woody & Sarah, which is always great.

Yesterday, I had teh stoopid. I was tired, wobbly. I woke tired from dreams of a tree coming down on a house on First Avenue, possibly because of the high winds and the rain in the night. I mostly sat on the sofa, typed up those CFS handouts and stared at the telly. And caught up on LJ. Had a severe lack of concentration, slipping from tv to pc to absolutely nothing.

Today, teh stoopid has receded, but I'm still tired. More vivid dreams. My hips ache. My stomach is sore pretty much constantly from eating wheat. And I have an ache from ovary to ovary. ravenlas drove me to Tescos so I have mango juice and Shaun White's Snowboarding game for the Wii (for when I'm up to playing it). Wii Fit age continues to vary - 37, 36, 25... *shrug* And in an attempt to get my achey bits to loosen up and stop aching, or at the very least for me not to care about them, my beloved husband has just provided me with a rum and coke. Digestive achey bits? Alcohol actually quite good for. Apparently.

We'll see. *grin*

I spent a while slowly re-reading my fanfic. And have come to the remarkable conclusion that it's really not that bad. In fact, it's pretty good. alasdair1076, you can stop hitting your head on the keyboard... *grin* Now all I need to do is write more of my own fiction and bring to it the things I've learned from the last 6 months of playing in other people's sandboxes.

So. Onwards and upwards, eh? Time to... curl up on the sofa under a blanket. :) Still, that cashmere shawl is coming along well. No photos yet, haven't got round to taking them. Meh.

Me too - when I get teh stoopid it feels as though I've dropped half my IQ and I'm trying to think through cotton wool. It gets a bit frustrating. Gah!
