Yep. He didn’t finish the last Wheel of Time book (left notes but didn’t finish it) so the fandom has SPECTACULARLY EXPLODED with panic and infighting in a comedy way. Rigney knew he was ill for a long time, though, and it’d be crazy to think he hadn’t put plans in place. (I’m getting all this second-hand, I read books 1-7 then gave up.) They’re currently talking about getting an author in to convert his last notes to the second half of the book…
I thought the setting was great. His ideas like the different colours of Aes Sedai (with unequal numbers and unequal political pull) and the slowly-insane dangerous hero have huge scope.
