I'm back in work, with only a bit of croak to show for my week of tonsillitis. I was back yesterday, but it was my work's Xmas do at the Devonshire Cat, so we all headed out at lunchtime and didn't come back. I had cherry beer, which was yummy. And a pork-free turkey dinner (why with the bacon? You need to add meat to your meat???). And quizzes. And hiccups. For 4 hours. And indigestion (maybe that's what the bacon's for?).
So. That's about it, really. I watched plenty of daytime tv, and I now know, thanks to Kim and Aggie, that 2oz borax, 2oz salt and a large glug of white vinegar will, when followed up with a kettle of hot water, clear out your u-bends.
I have knitted a pile of things for family. I might get onto knitting for friends before the new year...
I might get onto writing stuff before the new year, too. And I may even get my Las Vegas flights booked. You never know!
30 Days of Night is very chilly watching. And York Art Gallery is a great place. Who knew Tracy Emin could draw?
