I went salsa dancing again last night. It was lots of fun, and I'm still terrible at it (understandably, and not helped by confusing left and right turns the whole lesson). I daresay I'll be going again next week. Thenravenlas and I met up with john_hat for a pint and then The War of the Worlds. It's big-budget, big boomy special effects, some schmaltz, some creepiness, and quite enjoyable as long as you're not expecting it to be the book. Or to have no plot holes. The little girl in it was fantastic - she has a great career in horror films, if her big-eyed pale face and piercing scream are anything to go by...
