• Tue, 14:30: Haven't made it to my work's Christmas do: -7C at noon; main water pipe's frozen; bathroom sink waste pipe frozen. Did I mention it's cold?
• Tue, 14:31: Going to have to try to get out to buy a few big bottles of water. Not sure I can get the car out of the yard. *sigh*
• Tue, 14:32: Trying to cheer myself up by wearing pink/orange paisley tights, but all that's done is make my legs itch. Oh well. Never mind, eh?
• Tue, 16:53: Spent a while drawing water from the well and dumping it in the bathtub so we've something to flush the loo with, then brought more logs in.
• Tue, 16:54: Glad we have a well: must get water tested to see if it's potable (prob. not). May not get mains water back til next week - eep!
