Got off to a slower start today.
I was slower moving out of bed this morning, and through the shower. Only a bit, but it makes a difference. So I stacked and put the dishwasher on, made breakfast and lunch, sorted my bag out and it was time to head out.
I got some more of the scene-by-scene synopsis written, and realised I need to skim through the text again. Now this is a bit of a problem, and the most recent file is on a backup harddrive waiting for me to roll it out across a new laptop. Which I don't have. ravenlas's laptop, which I can't pinch yet because he hasn't transferred his stuff off it yet. *sigh* So I'm looking at a copy from last October, and yes, it's been edited some, but I can't help scribbling on it as I read, and I don't know whether these are edits I've already made. It leaves me with a sense of futility. Never mind, eh?
I've cleared a little out of my email inbox. Gone through some Hub and Pseudopod submissions. And watched The Guild, finally. It's on YouTube. Well worth watching!
I think I'm just a little too tired today, although that could be something to do with the lack of tea (a choice I've made). Anyway, I'm home tonight, so I might finally get the laptop situation sorted out. I hope so: I only have 3 days left on the iWorks 06 trial that's all I have on there for working with, well, pretty much any document. Gah.
I slept on the train home. Watched Grey's Anatomy and the first few Private Practise episodes while doing a very little on Squirrels. Ate takeout. And waited while my backup was restored overravenlas's laptop. Success!
