Slower start today again - I should get a bit more sleep, because by this point in the week I'm waking up with a whimper rather than a bounce. Out of bed. Obviously.
I has laptop! The Time Machine restore system from backup actually worked as advertised. Once I spent a while checking online and found out you need to stick the OSX install disk to access the option. See, Apple need better technical writers - their procedural documents tend to miss out this first, crucial step... Anyway, the laptop has been hastily renamed - no doomed characters who go to a screaming fiery falling death... (Armitage. Points for getting the reference. Unless you already know my Apple naming convention. Or I already told you.)
So today on the train I worked on Squirrels. In Scrivener. Which is surely the best writing programme ever (no offence to Ariadne,
st3v3). Oh, how I have missed it! I didn't realise how much until I got it back. :)
I got a bit more slush pile reading done for Hub, and some proofreading. And I went bouldering at lunchtime and despite the almost total lack of practise over the summer, I didn't suck! Go me!
Not done too much this evening - dinner, some singing along with Dr. Horrible, some happy dancing along to Cake's Short Skirt, Long Jacket, and a bit of Ebay, and now back to some actual work.
Oh, I should tell you where I'm up to. Umm... Pretty much finished going through Chapter 1 for now. I'll need to go through it again once I've got the end done. So I might go and look at the end. Well, it's a plan. Of sorts...
Weight: 150lbs. Exercise: 4 miles on my bike and an hour bouldering. Alcohol: still a whopping 0!
