It was great to be able to sit and talk about knitting with someone who knows a lot! I'm always surprised that more people don't bring little craft-y bits and pieces to cons; there's certainly lots of sitting-about time, and I know my hands get itchy if I've nothing to do. We can't be the only ones, surely!
One of my friends knits quite a bit. She's 12 and comes into York on the train to go to school, and she gets a lot of second glances, apparently. :)
