The reason I've pottered over to LJ, despite the warnings about it eating up all available free time / brain power / bandwidth, etc, is simple - I can't seem to get onto Blogger! I've managed to update my blog once in around the last 3 months. This sucks! So in order to keep my friends and family updated on my life (saves having to repeat myself in phone calls - I have a lot of family...) I'll carry on my irregular blurbing here. For now. Until I forget again...

So what's been going on? Well, I have a house now, and I'm sure I'm going to have to start paying for it soon... I have a very nice housemate, ant_girl, and she has brought Leo the amazing cat with her. He's great! This morning - alright, this lunchtime - when I got up he came and meowed outside my door and demanded fuss and attention. Is there any particular reason why all cats seem to like playing with rubber bands? Answers on a postcard please to the usual address.

Thanks to Ravenlas for coming to Ikea on Monday night with me and ant_girl. And for letting me borrow the laptop.

Finally, just in case you're wondering why I'm skiving off work, I've had a touch of glandular fever, which hasn't been too bad, although the slight sore throat won't go. But the exhaustion is getting very annoying - six weeks now and counting. *sigh* It seems to be getting a bit better though - I hope it's all gone by my housewarming party! That's on Friday the 21st (of November), btw. And you're all invited...

So I guess the only thing left to do now is to tell people where to find my new blog... Happy Wednesday!
