Tonsilitis. Not too painful, but it has eaten my brain, and my legs are wobbly. I've had a week at home watching dvds and bad daytime tv. And made a book bag, and almost finished off a pair of socks. The Historian (Elizabeth Kostova) is really good. So not a complete waste of time...

Sorry to hear that. I had tonsilitis a couple of years ago, and it was No Fun At All - a throat that felt like somebody had stabbed me in it, an inability to concentrate on anything complicated, and a complete lack of energy (to the extent that walking upstairs would leave me feeling drained).

I hope you're feeling better soon.

My brother used to get that a lot - really painful. Hope you feel better soon.

Hi! I'm presuming you're the only Tonsilitis-suffering, sock-knitting person who's currently reading The Historian, and is called Ellen, on Ed, Steve, and Clare's friends lists. So I've friended you. Hope you don't mind.

Yeah, it was a good day all round, I think. Despite my only having had about 3 hours sleep.
