Actually, right now you will, but once married, it really is not a big deal. The laws of intestate succession are pretty straight forward, and unless you want to do wierd bequests to odd freinds and distant relatives, it takes care of itself pretty well by doing an automatic per stripes distribution among spouse and children.

So, long story short: if you're intedning, like 90% of people to leave your estate to your kids, via your spouse, then a will , while always wise to have, isn't absolutely vital and won't be a big deal if you don't have one.
