Went to the Sheffield climbing wall, The Edge, with Chris from work this lunchtime. It's a fun wall - there's a room (not all that big) with *all* the walls covered in holds. Many, many routes, and a lot more top-roped than Leeds. It was interesting to try out - I could tell the routes were set by a different route-setter; they seemed a lot more off to one side then the other than the routes I've tried at Leeds. *shrug* But still huge amounts of fun. I even had a go at getting up an overhang (any holds, just to see how far I could go). Didn't get all the way up it, but I got 2/3rds of the way there, which is really good (for me). But now typing is interesting... *grin*
From all of this, you can conclude yesterday's stonking headache is well and truly gone, and the very early night I had means I'm no longer a zombie. Truly, sleep is my friend!
Miyazaki film-showing is *not* on this evening - I'm off to the synagogue for the 8pm service. But I'm sure
ravenlas won't mind if people call round to watch whatever with him. While he plays Sacred. ;)
This weekend, I am mostly planning on doing some DIY and gardening (if it's not chucking it down, that is). But I might go see Day After Tomorrow, for a bit of a break. If anyone fancies coming along too, give me a call.
Have a good weekend, all.
