I have a sofa (covered in plastic, so pretty dry) sitting in my back garden. Comfy as it is, for garden furniture, it just isn't waterproof. Would anyone like it? Otherwise I will have to call up the council and ask them to take it away.
The same goes for a couple of armchairs, currently residing in my living room. One is green, and a recliner, and the other is strawberry pink, and has big squashy comfy arms. Both need good homes by the end of the summer, and are perfectly respectable chairs (as long as you put a throw over them).
I also have a bunch of stuff to go to a car boot sale. Included in the mix are a stack of tacky Silhouette novels (if you don't know what they are, you're probably male), a stuffed hippo, a hairdryer, a couple of jackets and a bunch of waistcoats. And possibly some shoes.
So if anyone wants any of these, let me know. Otherwise, as soon as I can get up on a Sunday to head over to Rufforth, they'll all be gone and my attic stairs will be a mite clearer.
Since it's a Monday, and people are sharing their weekend highjinx, here's my weekend. It would be behind a cut-tag, but since all I did was sit on the sofa with
ravenlas and watch Buffy season 5 and some of season 6 (and him playing Sacred), there's no need to cut for brevity. Fantastic weekend, though - very quiet, and just what we both needed. Must mow the lawn soon, though. *grin*
