Kept in the dark

We had a power cut at work at around half past 10. Amazing how dark it is in this office when it's cloudy and the lights aren't on... The phone system isn't on the UPS, but after it cut a couple of people off, it got plugged into the UPS. Until the lights came back on at about ten past 11. At which point, one of the directors unplugged from the UPS and plugged it back into the regular power supply. Without checking to see if anyone was on the phone. So the same caller got cut off *again*. *grin* Says it all, really. But I got a bit of my puzzle done which has been stumping me. It's *really* stumping me now. ;)

Last night I got some repotting and seed planting done. The aloe veras continue to throw up babies like, ooh, rabbits. ;) I just hope my lettuce etc etc come up soon! (Maybe I should just plant mustard and cress - I'm very impatient...)

A Mosaic puzzle, only available from WH Smiths. Like minesweeper, but on paper. ;) They're the same range as Tsunami (aka Nonagrams or Griddlers) and Enigma. They're all logic puzzles which produce pictures when completed. Much fun!

It is really cool - but beware! They're highly addictive... So far I've managed to get medains, Elaine and Olivia doing them. *grin*

if you have spare aloe vera plants please could I have one?

I was trying to get one and all the ones in the garden centres were huge anod about £15 each..

assuming the geramiums do ok (or you want lettuice and basil) I'll happily trade....

I do, and you can, and then shortly you will have spare aloe vera plants which you will push onto your friends until they start avoiding you... *grin* They're the new spider plants, but far more useful. I recommend letting several of the babies grow up in the pot with the original, as on their own they are prone to falling over.

No trade necessary, but should you happen to have any red geraniums spare... *flutters eyelashes*

The only question is when I'll see you next, or when Marcus will see you next, as you and I seem to be ill/tired/busy/otherwise engaged at any gathering we'd reasonably expect to meet at. Do you want to do dinner at Meadowhell soon?
