I'm pretty certain that there's no water getting under the plastic which is taped around the bath. But looking under the bath, I haven't noticed it drying out any. And this morning when I went out to get my bike, water was dripping from the ginnel. *sigh* So I suspect the bath waste pipe is leaking somewhere. This is going to start affecting next door if I don't get it fixed asap. So I'm trying to get a plumber out to look at it. Can anyone recommend any? So far all I get is answerphones - they're all out and busy already...

I think I'm going to have to try to fix this, or at least patch it, this evening. Can't go on like this. Bah. Then get the woodworm and rot seen to later... Humbug!

I have a tube of silicone gell if you want me to come round and give it a go.
This is (I think) the same stuff plumbers use.

Failing that, I will try and get hold of the number of the plumber that recently
did some of the work on our house.

No plumbers here, unfortunately. I hope you can get it fixed really soon!
