- Wed, 21:46: Watching Space Cowboys; having my usual overwhelming conviction that we should be in space by now. Where's my spaceship? I'd go!
- Wed, 21:48: The defining disappointment of my childhood: realising I'd never grow up to have my own spaceship. Still haven't got over that 25 years on.
- Wed, 21:50: Spent my formative years reading scifi (Monica Hughes, etc) & watching Star Trek reruns & Doctor Who.
- Wed, 21:51: Most influential was Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone - simply because the spaceship was held together with duck tape.
- Wed, 21:52: The pilot lived on takeout. Had a broken sexdoll android. Not all clean & shiny & military. Believable 1 man living on a spaceship.
