Got the sofa returned to Makro yesterday, and picked up stuff from Marcus's dad's office in Bradford. Not too much getting lost, but much stopping to check the map and cursing because my ace map is still (maybe) in my car. Van returned ok this morning. I liked being a white van driver. Maybe I'll get one as my next car... *grin*

Train chaos - trains from York not calling at Doncaster due to a freight train derailing somewhere between them. That may make getting home tonight a touch more fun than usual.

York-Doncs trains should be running this afternoon. I think it will be busy though due to those not able to travel earlier :-(

Ah, ok. I was going by what one of the York station staff told me. It's not that you can't get from York to Doncaster; it's that you have to change at Leeds and it takes around an hour to get there. :(

I'm not too bothered; I go to Sheffield, and the train can go round some other way - not sure which way cos I was asleep at the time. So my train's not too bad. It's Derek and Terry who normally travel with me as far as Doncaster who didn't make it into work til 9:40...

It's scary how often freight trains derail. :-(
