*tee hee* *roar* Well, I always did like Spyro! *big grin*
Well, the weekend was great. I met friends at VJs on Saturday, which was lovely, and bumped into Steve and Leslie, then
failmaster, at Borders. Went to the Designer Outlet with
medains and
ravenlas and bought some wrapping paper, some gifts, and a sexy shirt (so I am assured). Got home and met Dave Hughes, who I haven't seen for almost a year, so that was lovely. Cooked spag bog (mmm - oh, meant to bring the leftovers for lunch, bah!) and didn't do much for the rest of the evening.
Sunday was great too, as
gaxx, Adam,
paul_marks,
sunlessnick and
john_hat gathered at my house. After a little shuffle of cars, we headed off into town for lunch at Orgasmic with
ravenlas and Dave. Thence to the Pitcher and Piano (minus
gaxx, and on to Vue to see Blade Trinity, which was much fun, but be careful not to poke at the holes in it or it will fall apart on you. It was highly entertaining, and yet again, I enjoyed the cinematography. Back to my place, then
john_hat headed home, and shortly thereafter did Dave. The remainder of this ragged band watched Taxi (the French film - v. funny), and I got some work done - more than I have all week, so yay!
The only slight flaw in the weekend is that Leo is once more peeing at the foot of the stairs, but I have hopes he's just miffed at his vets trips, and will stop soon.
And to today? Well, the train went from platform 5 rather than platform 3, was incredibly crowded, and then came in on platform 8 rather than platform 6. *shrug* Oh well! Change is good...
Have a great week!

![]() | You scored as The Dragon. Ancient, chaotic, and a bit mysterious is the Dragon figure. Awakened from your happy slumber upon a pile of gold, you go about the country slaying its occupants. Beowulf manages to kill you, but not before you ensure his death. Congrats. |

Date: 2004-12-13 03:17 pm (UTC)From:some onions, chopped reasonably small, fried in olive oil until they go translucent.
Add beef mince if you're making a meat dish (or lamb if you fancy it, but it tastes very different). Stir until the meat browns.
Add several carrots, peeled and chopped reasonably small, some celery, mushrooms, sweet peppers, (ditto). Add some peas if you like (I do), and two tins of chopped plum tomatoes and maybe some tomato puree if you don't think it's tomatoey enough. Add garlic, mixed mediterranean herbs, vegetable / beef stock cubes, basil leaves, to taste.
Add tofu or quorn mince if you're making a vegetarian dish.
Cover the pan with something to stop splatters, and leave it on a low heat to cook for around half an hour, depending on how chewey you like your veg.
Grate a lot of mature cheddar (to taste, entirely optional).
Cook some pasta, which (despite the name) doesn't have to be spaghetti.
Voila! One beautiful spag bog! ;-) I hope you like it - it's kind of a staple of my family.
For variety, you could add in some smoked back bacon, chopped up quite small, if you like; it gives it lots of flavour. Use whatever veg you have to hand - the only essentials are the mince, onions, tomatoes and herbs.
Mmmmmm!
